These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of drkrisdorner.com and the services offered by Dorner Functional Nutrition LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using this website, scheduling a service, or purchasing a service through us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.
1. About Our Services
Dr. Kris Dorner, DNM, CFMP provides functional brain-health, natural-medicine, nutrition, lifestyle, and educational consulting services.
Dr. Dorner is not an MD or DO and does not prescribe medications or provide emergency or crisis care.
Services are intended to complement, not replace, appropriate medical, psychiatric, psychological, neurological, pediatric, therapeutic, or other licensed healthcare care when needed.
Use of this website alone does not establish a practitioner-client relationship.
A practitioner-client relationship begins only after you have formally enrolled in services, completed required forms and agreements, and your service has been accepted.
2. Website Information Is Educational
The information on this website is provided for general educational and informational purposes.
Website content is not intended to:
- diagnose a medical or psychiatric condition
- prescribe or change medication
- provide emergency care
- replace individualized advice from a licensed physician, psychiatrist, therapist, or other qualified healthcare professional
Do not disregard or delay appropriate medical care because of information you read on this website.
If you believe you may be experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or seek immediate emergency care.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to independently purchase services or enter into agreements through this website.
Services involving children or adolescents must be arranged by, and conducted with the appropriate involvement or authorization of, a parent or legal guardian.
4. Scheduling and Services
Appointments may be scheduled through our website or approved third-party scheduling and practice-management platforms.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when scheduling or enrolling in services.
Appointment availability, service structure, and fees may change over time.
5. Functional Brain Health Evaluation
The current fee for the 60-minute Functional Brain Health Evaluation is $597, unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.
The Evaluation may include:
- review of intake information
- review of relevant health history and symptoms
- review of medications and supplements
- review of records or laboratory information you provide
- discussion of nutrition, lifestyle, environmental, and other relevant factors
- recommendations for additional testing or follow-up when appropriate
Laboratory testing, supplements, follow-up visits, and third-party services are not included in the Evaluation fee unless specifically stated otherwise.
6. Laboratory Testing
Laboratory testing is not required for every client.
When recommended, testing is selected based on your individual history, symptoms, previous records, goals, and other relevant factors.
Laboratory fees are separate unless specifically stated otherwise.
Third-party laboratories are responsible for their own collection methods, processing, reporting, and turnaround times.
We do not guarantee that any specific test will identify a cause of symptoms or produce a particular outcome.
7. Supplements and Other Products
Supplements may be recommended when appropriate.
Supplement recommendations are individualized and are not guarantees of improvement or results.
You are responsible for informing Dr. Dorner and your other healthcare providers about:
- medications
- supplements
- allergies
- pregnancy
- medical conditions
- adverse reactions
Do not discontinue or alter prescribed medication without consulting the clinician who prescribed it.
8. Payments
Payments may be processed through Stripe, Practice Better, or another approved payment provider.
By purchasing a service, you authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the payment method you provide.
You agree to provide accurate billing information.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policies
Appointment cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and no-show policies are governed by the policies presented to you at the time of booking or enrollment.
If a separate Financial & Cancellation Policy applies to your service, that policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, completed services are non-refundable.
10. Follow-Up Care
The number and frequency of follow-up visits vary by individual.
No specific number of visits, timeline, or outcome is guaranteed.
Recommendations may change over time based on:
- your response
- new information
- laboratory findings
- changing priorities
- collaboration with other providers
11. No Guarantee of Results
Health outcomes vary from person to person.
We do not guarantee:
- symptom resolution
- improvement within a specific timeframe
- discontinuation of medication
- laboratory normalization
- cure or reversal of any disease or psychiatric condition
- any particular health outcome
Any examples, testimonials, or client experiences are individual experiences and should not be interpreted as a promise that you will achieve the same result.
12. Collaboration With Other Providers
Dr. Dorner’s services may be used alongside care from physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, neurologists, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
When appropriate, Dr. Dorner may recommend that you seek additional evaluation or treatment from another provider.
Medication prescribing, medication changes, and emergency psychiatric care remain outside Dr. Dorner’s role.
13. Electronic Communications
By contacting us electronically or providing your contact information, you agree that we may communicate with you through methods such as:
- secure portal messaging
- telephone
- text messaging, if you opt in
Electronic communications may be subject to the Privacy Policy and any additional communication-consent terms presented when you enroll.
14. SMS Terms
If you opt in to text messaging, you may receive appointment reminders, service-related communications, and other messages you have agreed to receive.
Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of non-essential SMS messages by replying STOP where supported.
Mobile opt-in information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes, except providers necessary to deliver the messaging service.
15. Privacy
Your use of the website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

16. Use of AI-Assisted Tools
